So here is the second session from the mini session day! I have had so much fun going through this family's shots.... All of them make me smile! So stinkin' cute.
I will most likely have another mini day in the fall, so if you missed out on the last one, or you just weren't interested at the time, stay tuned for the next one!! They are so fun and being that they are only 30 min long, it's a easy way to get your Christmas card photo in! A big thank you for everyone who braved the heat and humidity to come to there mini session!! It sure was hot. {understatement} This is the first family and these kids are too cute, some of the cutest I know, with the blonde hair and the adorable smiles!? so cute. I think Riley Lake Park is one of my new favorite locations too!

A few words...

It's been a quiet couple weeks here :) My family and I went on a yearly camping trip last week and it was great to just relax! I am getting soooo excited about a project that I've been working on for a month or so, look for the photos from that in the next week or so! Also, I am really looking forward to the mini session day coming Sunday, July 31st! These photos were so fun to go through and edit, I love photographing people in the late evening while the sun is setting, it just makes the eyes sparkle!! This is a photographer friend of mine, Monika of monika rae photography! She is simply amazing and has such awesome talent. I was privileged to have a fun evening with her talking about all things photography related and was lucky to have her take some beautiful portraits of me!! Thanks again! I have been obsessed with Grey's Anatomy these days (just ask my hubby)! I have offically finished seasons 1-6 and now must find a way other than Netflix to watch season 7! AH! Suggestions?!

Model Wanted!!

I'm sure your all wondering whatever happened to my mini session day, or maybe not, but anyways.... It is still in the works :-) I have been having such a hard time putting it together and choosing a day because of all this rain!! So I'm going to have it more towards the end of July. I have the location picked out and will have all the details sometime next week! I have also been wanting to do a more fashion{y} geared session, get really creative, ya know! So I am looking for a model, a volunteer of sorts. A girl{woman} of age 20yr. and over. Must be willing to drive to location of shoot and to decide with my help{tips} your clothing choices, hair, makeup and accessories. I would love to hear from you!

Our new best friend....

Halligan! Our new baby puppy, and our first dog together, pretty fun! We have been really lucky so far, this dog sleeps and we LOVE that! He's been going to bed around 11:00pm and wakes himself up to go out around 6:00am! Good puppy!! The kids are loving him, at least Duane is, our three year old. Jacob is a little more annoyed by him :-) Here are a few photos so far, I'm sure he will be photographed as much as my kids.... Just look at this face!
