I am really excited about the mini session day coming up! It's a great time to get those family photos taken, but I love working with individuals as well to create something awesome! my memories

These are the long overdue 2 year photos of my youngest, Jacob. I also haven't had any of the boys together recently so I am beyond excited with how cute these are. Jake Jake is our little doll baby, he's a little peanut with a squeaky voice. While our oldest is our drama/serious kid, Jake is our goof. He is crazy, crazy cute, although you might not get that when you first meet him; he is shy.:-)Some of these photos remind me of Dewy at his two year mark, they are definatly bros.

Tino + Mini Session Details

Meet Tino, isn't he adorable!? I think so, thanks Diana for letting me capture your sweet little dude. I am beyond excited for you guys! Now we both have two boys and can compare notes on so many new things! ;-) I love these shots.

Couldn't Get Any Better

This was an impromptu shoot with my little sis-in-law. We caught the sun at the perfect moment right before it went down:) Her eyes in these are just lovely. This is the type of photo I am in love with capturing. Thanks Nadia for being a willing model!!

Too cool

It's been awhile since my last post, but it's been one thing after another lately! And in a good way, my hubby has a new job, we moved to a new home and all in about a month!! In the midst of these things my big boy turned 4. Not. Possible. I am glad I took the time to capture these photos outside our old place, he has lots of memories in that home:-) Duane (or Dewy, as we call him) is an amazing kid, everybody loves Dewy. The moment you meet him you'll get an earful about his latest interests, he talks to people of all ages with an ease I hope sticks with him. He is our Drama boy, and with his birthday money he bought himself a pair of binoculars. Yes, the stick in these photos turned into a guitar:) I love him.

I Heart

Because I haven't blogged anything or any photos of my babes of late; and it seems to be a theme in the blogging world to let people know why we do what we do, this is why I do:

Because you just never know when you'll get that picture/moment that makes your heart happy



Beacause there are so many quiet, simple things worth capturing



Because our days are filled with adventure and love, things we hope never fade



Because in life there are things worth laughing about, we should fill it up with more of it.

My friend Molly

These photos are so much fun! Isn't Molly the cutest?! I have been able to photograph her the last couple winters when she's home visiting her mom and am so sad (but happy!!:-)) that she will be moving away indefinitely. Thanks for letting me capture you Molly!!
I am so excited about the new year and will be making a few changes in 2012:) Nothing too big!! I have spent the last several years trying to find my way in the world of photography and I can finally narrow down the type or style of my art. So to any of you budding photographers reading this, it is a process for sure! One that I am still learning from, to say the least!!

Farewell 2011

I had another amazing year!! Thank you all who came to me to capture your families, you are all awesome! I have learned so much more about my art this year and hope 2012 will hold more great learning experiences!!
